The Turning Point

Growing up, I experienced broken teenage years, struggling to find direction and meaning. I felt lost until I found the Salvation in Christ Jesus Church. It was here that I truly received Jesus Christ, and that decision was the absolute turning point that changed everything for me. The Church didn't just accept me; they received me and helped me build a new life.

The Transformation

The blessing in my life is evident every day. I am deeply thankful for the Church, and I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and two amazing daughters. My wife and I are now taking what we’ve received and giving back: we are establishing a Family Training Center to empower other parents and children. On top of that, I am actively preaching the Gospel through social media, continuing to share the powerful hope that saved me. My life is a testament to the grace found in Christ.

A Voice Found in Worship

Kidusit committed her talent and her life to the Lord at Mekane Alem Akababi Kirkos Church. She realized her voice wasn't just for performance; it was for service. She committed herself as both a singer and an active servant in the ministry of this church.

Today, Kidusit stands as a dedicated worship leader, ensuring that the spiritual message of the church resonates through song. Her powerful belief—that "What He has said will surely happen, I believe"—is a testament not just to her faith, but to her active participation in the vision of this church. She is living proof that every talent, big or small, has a vital role to play in the house of the Lord.

Fikrachannat’s testimony is one of deep gratitude for God’s perfect placement.

The Turning Point:

Fikrachannat realized that God had a specific purpose and location for his service. He was brought to the Alem Aqef (International) Church of Jesus Christ in Nedam. This wasn't a job he sought; it was a calling he answered.

The Transformation:

Filled with thankfulness, Fikrachannat now serves actively, sharing grace and working closely with various ministers and servants in this church. His focus is entirely on the future, determined to continue doing God's work alongside the church family. His life is an example of what happens when you accept your assignment from God and remain thankful for the opportunity to serve.

From the Streets to the Pulpit

In the early days, some of us—like Brother Tasfaye and others—were living a very different life. Some were known in the community for creating trouble and had no direction, essentially street boys lost in the noise of the city. But the amazing truth is, we all encountered the same life-changing message at this church.

The Turning Point:

As Pastor Deq shares, we all accepted the Lord right here in this church. God didn't just forgive our past; He qualified us for a future. The Lord counted Tasfaye faithful and appointed him for service and leadership. He didn't see our past; He saw our potential.

The Transformation:

Now, we are united in service. We are seeing incredible fruit—the very people who were once the cause of trouble are now the pioneers leading others to faith! We are not just holding steady; we are expanding and multiplying across the area, recently serving in the Oromia/Qella area. God has helped us turn a life of trouble into a life of purpose.
